Weird stuff like : that. : Anywho, my point is that if we could get an accurate scan of a person on a : molecular level, then it would be safe to rebuild people at the other end : because we'd know exactly how to get the machine to reassemble them. : Personally, the idea of folding space ala Dune appeals much more to me than : any personal teleportation. : -Bill In one TNG episode, Scotty is found after his "pattern" was stored in some kind of buffer in a teleporter for many years. He was perfectly normal.
