In older games, on normal difficulty, I used to go leaping at enemies with an AR, throwing grenades, melees, etc, and now it seems to be nearly impossible to even leave cover. I thought maybe the game was just harder, but I guess it could be a focus shift. I decided to play 4 on normal after finishing Heroic, and it wasn't really difficult, but I still spent nearly the whole game at range picking enemies off with one of the many headshot weapons.
