In Response To: You have an odd definition of "update" then... *NM* (The Loot) In what sense? Updates are changes to something that tend to preserve what it is, while bringing it, well, "up to date." I fail to see how the multiplayer modes of Halo's 2, 3, and Reach can possibly be construed that way; there is far too much qualitative difference. Even if you want to call those games "updates" of each other, which is still a huge stretch, there is a huge gap between their approach to gameplay and Halo 1's. This is most strongly reflected in the grenade behavior, the movement speed, the innacuracies of most weapons in Halo 1, and the fact that, in many common gametypes, users spawn with a weapon that actually gives them a fighting chance against people with power weapons. |
