Wow, that's really not true.
Neither of you are applying Occam's Razor particularly well. It can't realy be applied when you don't have any information.
It happened one way before, therefore it is likely that it will happen that way again (whcih both of your are saying) is not applying Occam's Razor.
Note: Occam's Razor answers "why" questions, and that's pretty much it. While this little mystery CAN be described in a why question ("Why does the picture KP posted look like that?"), there's no way Occam's Razor is going to get us particularly close to what map was used.
