Mm, Occam's Razor only works particularly well when facing two different questions, or routes, or solutions, that in the end produce the same answer or result. Let's say there are two new theories on how black holes spring to existance. One of them has to do with a planet sponaneously imploding on itself, and the other has to do with... um... extraterrestial activity. That's a good situation to use the Razor and figure out which of those is the "easiest" to produce. Then that one is much more likely to be true, IF one of those two theories has to be true.
Wow, so off topic.
Anyway, that's not a map we've seen before! One of the stupidest things you can do if you're developing Halo 3, is sit around and write reports of games on maps you've already played for years before!
