You must've hated the director's cut of Blade Runner then huh? I generally like almost anything with a more bitter or at least ambigious ending. Stories where everything is neatly resolved and over explained tend to to piss me off.

hmmm how about this....
The relationship between the Covenant and the terrans can also be related to the Green Eggs and Ham where Sam I Am(terrans) manipulates the older protag(the Covenant) into seeing that things that are different aren't so bad. Then they'll all have a big party on the Halo where Threshold turns out to be a giant disco ball. Then with a little luck MC Hammer will make a guest appearance and the game can end with a giant music video sporting Hammer's new hard sci-fi image.
