Beta 10 on Windows has the same issue I had before, where it only works with HD Textures off, else the whole game crashes to desktop. I haven't tested the Mac one yet so I'm not sure if it has the same problem.

The error in the log appears to be a "bad allocation":

Unhandled exception: std::bad_alloc (shell.cpp:381)

Turning off all plugins in the other versions didn't work, nor did deleting older builds I had in case it was a clashing issue. So far Windows Aleph One incompatibility with the HD textures MML may just be an issue I have to deal with. Hopefully the Mac version doesn't have the same issue, but I'll need to try it later to see.
