Those are non-HD textures. For beta 5 I shrunk down Pfhorrest's new textures to 128x128 and created 8-bit palletes for them. There may be some glitches in b5's low-res textures but those got ironed out later.

Yes, I objected to the older beta's replacing headless with mothrids myself, so I replaced the mothrids with Skitters. In the latest betas you'll find all the wrkncacnters and Forerunners are PiD monsters, for a total of 4 PiD species:

•Banshees
•Skitters
•Nightmares
•Spheres

If you don't like the way Wrkncacnters are transparent, you can turn off the "HD Monsters" plugin and marvel at their opaque PiD glory. Well, except the Banshees, those will still be transparent until it's too late...
