In Response To: HOW IS CHIEF GOING TO SAFE THE EARTH ? (nukedude) The Earth won't be saved. I've never played any of Bungie's earlier games, but I've read a lot of the stuff on the Marathon Trilogy, and if I've learned anything, it's that Bungie's stories are EPIC in scope. This story will likely be larger than humanity, and the survival of the human race will pale in comparison to whatever the greater purpose is. It is only our human-centric view of storylines that makes us think that the Earth is the most important part of this equation. Whatever unfolds, we can be sure that the Masta Cheef and Cortana will play significant, and possibly conflicting, roles. KN
