Like everyone else who cycles through WNEW : in NY, I gave them a chance. I listened to them and I didn't like them. To : me, they truly are terrible. They just aren't funny and I think the fact : that they got cancelled in the biggest market in radio because of poor : ratings, proves that others think so too. No, all that it proves is that it can be tough to break into the NY market, especially when they're on tape-delay for a significant portion of that time period. Don and Mike have had #1 ratings in several cities, both current and past. In Washington, D.C. they've been #1 in all three time slots - mornings, middays and afternoons. And if you've heard their latest ratings in Philadelphia (where they've taken over Opie and Anthony's old timeslot) you'll realize that the ratings are going up in that city as well. When it comes down to it, I will continue to enjoy listening to Don and Mike while Opie and Anthony can look forward to listening to the sounds of their own voices.
