Even though we have the : freedom of speech, they can't pin anything on HALO. : note: i'm talking about the rights stuff because I had history today, and : that was all we did :) I don't mean to offend, Universal, but I just have a couple of things to say with regard to some of your comments. First off, I find that of late many people have quoted the 1st Amendment in odd contexts, or to defend certain actions using obscure parts of the wording of that amendment. Warbow made an interesting point to this effect in his reply. I think the 1st Amendment can definitely be applied in this case, but not in the way you've asserted. I think more to the point that the 1st Amendment protects the right of the "religious" site in question to say whatever they want about a secular game without repercussions from people who don't agree with their viewpoint--a viewpoint that is perhaps slightly biased by the tenets of their beliefs. Secondly, whatever personal feelings you may have toward "religion" as a whole or to particular members of a particular "religion," those feelings should not prevent you from reading or garnering information from or about said religion without immediately disregarding it based solely on the fact that it is "religious." That having been said, I tend to agree with you at times about "religion," despite my own faith in Jesus Christ and relationship with him. "Religion" can tend sometimes to get so bogged down with procedure and self-righteousness that the bigger picture is lost; the same picture that Christ was trying to get into people's heads 1,970ish years ago. That is to say, I think of Christianity (in it's purest form) to be a relationship with Jesus, not a set of rules and regulations that you have to follow. If you really want more information (not a flame war or anything offensive), please feel free to email me. I would love to talk more in a forum that was actually meant for this type of discussion. Thus in conclusion I say, as a devout Christian, HALO ROCKS!!! P.S. Dang, I'm wordy when I get going.
