(HaloFan) not really. the powerups have collision detection built in because they're in the game world. it doesn't matter what they're "supposed to be". since the powerups exist inside the game world where action controlled by the player is happening, they need to be able to react to that environment (ok, well not NEED to, but its more fun that way). the powerups will move around if they're grenaded, they can spin, etc. however, i think that vehicles pass right through them - can anyone confirm that? : Has anyone ever shot a invisibility thingy with a sniper rifle and watched : it? It spins. And the powerups are hologramish, like Cortana.
