In Response To: Contest!!! -Shaft Challenge- Pt 1 (FrogBlast)
Ok heres how:
Aer the shaft scene tun around(must have overshield on both players) go to left side of platform.Look down you should see a ramp,thats your target.You should hit the ramp and youll save some overshield.Then drop down to the level with the overshield crouch just before you hit.repeat with the other player.
Now,melee each other to drop your grenadfes in front of the overshield.You can coax a couple enemies into that area to get a couple more if you need them.Now,stand in front of the overshield,toss a grenad just on the otherside of the overshield(This will blast the grenades towards the opening and help)Wait bout 1 second,then run through the shield and jump the pile.This will shoot you to the other side and land on one of the forks.
Now do the drop and crouch thing all the way down to the bottom fork above the part with the rectangle part cut out of it.Then walk over to the very end of that fork and walk off the end towards the center of the shaft.This will make you land on a ramped part and survive.
Posistion a player on one of the long edges of the rectangle looking in the hole.Now you are looking at another platform with a rectangle depression in it.What you want to do is land on the outer edge of that,its ramped.
Ok when your ready,jump player 2 off the platform,anywhere it doesnt matter.Just as he hits walk player two off the inside of the rectangle,aiming for the outer edge of the lower platform.When you hit,youll live its ramped,player 2 will respawn on that edge,player 1 will continue to fall to his death.
Ok now face in the direction of the maproom,not the fork things,and walk as far as you can go.You will see a large ledge,walk off towards that edge and crouch just b4 you hit.Youll make it with a couple health left.Kill player2.
After respawn,walk player 2 to the edge and walk off down to the very bottom,crouch just b4 you hit.
Voila,your at the bottom!ft
