The galaxy is not shaped in such a fashion that your equation would work. Our galaxy is roughly more disc-shaped, about 100,000 light years in diameter (source: http://www.star.le.ac.uk/edu/mway/). So, figuring: the total area of the galaxy is 2,500,000,000ð light years. The area of one Halo pulse is 156,250,000ð light years. Since explosions are circular, they'd have to overlap if they wanted to cover the entire galaxy, however, so the math becomes extremely complex. Suffice it to say we're looking at well over 20 Halos to get the whole galaxy under control.
