In Response To: Re: Hunter-Killing Pointers (Cunbelin@Work) On legendary (and many hours of practice), I now enjoy battling hunters. I tend to now save ammo against them, because (with patience), if they are close to you, they won't shoot off their cannon. Instead, they will rush & swipe, and leave themselves exposed for a second after the charge. Simply sidestep, turn, and rush (all at the same time), and you can get ONE free shot at their back. With the AR, it took appx 8 - 10 melee hits to bring down one. With two, it becomes tricky, but usually you wait for the second one to charge you. The second will usually bash into the first, sending the first reeling. You then attack the second's back until he falls, then work on the first. On a side note: I am really looking forward to the PC version, but I can't help but think how I could accomplish these (and other) maneuvers with keyboard and mouse. I seem to be using both sticks to move in ways that I think would be difficult with a keyboard and mouse (not impossible mind you, but with the controllers, it really feels fluid, natural and simple). : Wow forgive me but I enjoy taking on hunters dodge and shooting them, on : Heroic, the best weapon to use is the pistol just dodge and shoot them it : should take em down in one hit.A more interesting way to take them out is : to use the needler, it's just really satisfying seeing their exposed : backsides prickling with purple explosive glass.
