(Gravemind) : Well, I actually got this one done in a decent amount of time: Only three : months after the game came out, as opposed to six months for my Halo 3 : & Reach reviews. : Anywho, you guys know the drill. It's a long one: this draft clocks in at : 19,819 words, only eight words shorter than my review for Reach. Enjoy. : Review: "Halo 4" Thanks for the well thought out, well evidenced review(/dissertation). I'll need to catch up on your previous reviews sometime. What's interesting to me is that even though I would ultimately rank the game similarly to you, it would be for very different reasons. You go on and on (and on...:p) about things that don't bother me at all (button-pushing animations, Chief redesign) and never mention the issues that irked me most (lack of friendly AI in most missions, lack of combat dialogue, flat matte-painting backgrounds, ugly particle effects).
