In Response To: Unused/Deleted H4 Weapons (ZaneZavin2) : I stumbled onto reddit/halo today and found this youtube video of a guy who : uses mods to access gamefiles that aren't actually used in the game. It's : neat to watch and wonder what could have been. : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Jo9TgzyipI Kind of glad the Stasis Rifle got axed. More of a gimmick than a weapon. Although, throwing down a localized gravity field might have made for an interesting armor ability. You could lay it down in a choke point to dissuade pursuers or buy yourself a little time to evade oncoming vehicles. Maybe it overlapped too much with the Pulse Grenade, which is really only good for area denial. There's a thought: a 'gravity grenade' that helps pin down a target would be more practical for fighting Flood than something that's really only effective on stationary targets. But dammit, the Bishop Beam! Looks and acts a bit more like the Forerunner handguns we saw in 'Origins'. Would have loved to have that, especially since H4 is strangely lacking in Sentinel Beams.
