In Response To: Re: My H4 review - Campaign (Gameplay and Story) (Cody Miller) : This is why they missed a huge opportunity with Rio. Here's what needed to : happen: Rio throws MC into the brig. Lasky comes by, lets the Chief out, : and gives him a tranquilizer gun or something. He tells him there's a : pelican available at xyz location if he can get to it. Lasky gets arrested : while the Chief makes his escape, all the while fighting UNCS to get to : the pelican. All is forgiven in the end because they save Earth. Maybe all : isn't forgiven. Maybe they both get demoted / disciplined. Either way, : that would give their final conversation some weight at least. Now wouldn't that be something, demoting the Chief. This game had so much potential and faultered in far too many areas. Nothing felt earned, and this entire part with Rio was another one of those parts. I disagree with Rio. I'm gonna take this Pelican. Everyone agrees with me. See you all back at Earth in the final act. No consequence, nothing at stake. The way you just wrote it was gripping in and of itself, even imagining the concept of it all and its implications in future games.
