This. I totally got what they were going for. I totally get how sad it is. I totally did not get the "feels". Except for me it wasn't apathy, it was how poorly they kept the emotional momentum going during missions. Especially Midnight. For me, Midnight ties with Shutdown as the most forgettable mission in the whole game. I don't see at all what people who love it claim to see.
