The soldier nearby just looks side to side and : says "Uh, sir... I didn't say anything..." The more I read of The Thursday War, the more I expect the 'Covenant' to be our go to villains for the entirety of Halo, despite the introduction of the Prometheans. All that potential of Halo 3 which had 3 of the 4 players in co-op being Sangheili with mention of "increasing numbers of human sympathisers amongst Sangheili youth" like N'tho 'Sraom, and the pre-release snippets from Marines who had been conversing with him. It's all, apparently, been completely discarded at this point. There's just not even a hint of it at all in that book, Halo 4 or any of the promo material for it.
