I honestly can't tell if you're joking or not... Comparing a DLC package to one country giving another weapons... Wat?

But in all seriousness, MS controls the servers and XBOX Live. They can pretty much do what they want. It reminds me of some outrage a while ago when EA was turning off the servers for a number of their games because the populations were low. Was it the right/good thing to do? Probably not. Were they fully within their right to do so? Yep.

Hell, the outrage at EA is, IMO, much more warranted than any outrage at 343i over this. In EA's case people bought their games expecting MP access that was later revoked. With this Crimson Map Pack ordeal 343i is simply blocking access to something that YOU DIDN'T PAY FOR. Big fucking deal.

/My ire comes from their response that this was intentional. As a PR student I call complete BS on this statement. It makes me sad to see the PR department for a huge corporation flounder like this
