This is really my only problem with this whole thing. I totally agree with you, Blue - I would have been perfectly fine with a simple "oops, there were problems, we're going to let folks who downloaded the maps for free enjoy them for a week, but then we're going to have to ask you to pay for them if you want to keep them"... but this "Buy and Play" thing reeks of beancounters who don't really understand the market they're selling to.

I'd put good money on there being a whole bunch of people inside 343 who find this pretty appalling.
