In Response To: No Manual (Phoenix_9286) Vehicle controls. It was enough trying to re-learn the basic controls, but even the vehicle controls are different. I had no idea that the button you need to push to get the Banshee to do tricks had been moved from LB to X until I actually got into combat using one, and that cost me a couple of deaths. Also, the Pelican handles differently from its Reach counterpart (which controlled the same as a Falcon). It took me a while to figure out how to make the thing descend or ascend. When I'm playing through my first time, I don't want to spend ten minutes trying to figure out how all the controls changed. Also, the UI takes some getting used to. A manual would have meant that I'd know how to navigate it from the get-go. There are some things I want to learn on my own, but basic controls are not one of them. That's stuff I want told to me right out of the box before I even cut the game on. Sure, it's quick to learn these things on your own (at least if you're a Halo vet; I shudder in sympathy for newer and/or more casual Halo players who might still be fidgeting around with all these things and don't spend all day reading about Halo stuff online) so it's not a huge deal, but for me it's the principle of the thing. This is literally the first game I've ever bought new that didn't have a manual included.
