I haven't read a manual in years. The closest I've come is looking up the key assignments on a few of my PC games, and that's only because I needed to set up my gamepad so I didn't have to hold my keyboard in my lap. There's nothing I can't figure out by just playing the game and experimenting.

I'd bet that the vast majority of gamers don't read the manuals. Hell, I texted some friends and asked them if they do and got these responses:

"No, why?"
"They still make those?"
"No"
"What's a manual?"

There's no point in wasting the time, money, and paper on something that most people will never use.
