The Elite's cloak was extremely well done. My favorite examples were the sparks that bounced off of it and the very slight wisping of the smoke it disturbed as it entered the gun room. 2. Forget about the cloak, that Elite was amazing! Armor was a bit beat up and I'll leave it to others to place its rank and faction and whatever, but it was big and menacing and scary! Good job 343. 3. The Covenant weapons effects were amazing too. They felt real and powerful. And that slow motion of the incoming fire, especially the one needler round that shattered good, was very cool. 4. The Assault Rifles… Meh. I'm not quite sure why, but where the Covenant weapons look and feel real to me, the AR's feel like they are props. They look like big toys to me. I also feel that nobody is ever firing them / aiming them quite right. I don't know… I never had a problem with the AR in game, but I pretty much hate it here in live action… 5. The whole planet is gone already? Must be a small planet… 6. The Chief should probably alert his little team of four that he is coming back so they don't mistake him for an enemy and shoot at him as he approaches them with his lights off in a dark dust filled room… 7. The Chief's save of Lasky was great. I liked how he stood in the open afterward and traded fire with the Covenant. Sure we'd be looking for cover but nothing shows how awesome a Spartan is than having enemy fire bounce off of his armor. 8. The Chief's run, gun, and jump… Not so much. I appreciated his accuracy with the pistol, but doing it while running and ending with that jump seemed to be action for action's sake. Stuck the landing though. 9. Why is a Warthog so hard to turn on? 10. How did the Chief kill that Elite anyway? I couldn't tell on my first viewing. Maybe it was great and I just didn't see it right or something… 11. Besides the action for actions sake part, I didn't mind the Chief. Not really sure what could be added or taken away to make him more Chief-y… Voice was perfectly fine too.
