(Quirel) Also, when Bungie put out the first Reach trailer, I pointed out here that the rotors on the Falcon were spinning "backwards" with respect to current-day rotorcraft knowledge, and I explained in great detail WHY. The next time we saw that SAME trailer rendered, the rotors were spinning the other way, and now in Reach they continue to spin the "correct" way. Now I'm not going to bet money on my words being the one and only thing that made Bungie change their model - they certainly didn't tell me any such thing - buuuuut, to this day haven't read anything anywhere by anyone else that mentions the rotor-spinning-direction issue, so I'm left to draw my own conclusion based on the information available. What other reason could they possibly have had for changing something as seemingly trivial as the rotation direction of the Falcon's rotors? And yet, they changed it.
