Could I ever see 343i repurpose a Halo engine for some other game? Maybe, but I don't see it becoming any sort of common thing. Stubbs only had the H1 engine because Seropian was leading the project, and the engines have never been treated as any sort of development platform to be marketed. Beyond that, I'm not really sure what to discuss, as your prompt is extremely open-ended. What would or wouldn't be special about using an engine that was developed for a Halo game? I dunno.
