Not necessarily true... Frankie has already said that it is the soft ware not the hard ware that matters I.E a Spartan could wear what we view as the Mark V helmet but it could have the Mark VI software (Or vice versa)... This is probably the first suit he gets from Halsey, However that does not rule out him getting the Halo wars armor at any point or any other variants for that matter.
