Well, your headache probably came from taking a comment made in passing about not being impressed with most movies that come out every week and turning it into OMG EFF CINEMA!!

Which is not what it was (nor is it who I am). :) I think you took my post more seriously than it was written. The ultimate point was that a group of folks concerned mostly about the bottom line shouldn't have veto power or editing control over an IP such as Halo and that is what would happen if an actual film was made. It's happened all through the history of film. Typically not for the best, thus why Director's Cuts exist.

This web series is the perfect way to avoid that and I couldn't be more pleased.

As far as feeling positively towards Jackson moreso than most others, that doesn't necessarily imply feeling negatively towards the rest. There's a whole range of apathy that I can feel too. :D
