This is fantastic news.

I know I'm in the minority, but I have never wanted a Halo movie. Countless video game franchises have been cheapened by terrible movies and I'll never trust in some Hollywood executive board's judgement on what would make a good film. I need only to point to the garbage they roll out every week now for confirmation that these people don't need a hand in the Halo cookie jar.

But this web series seems a great way to tell a focused, concise story in a new way without having to worry about box office receipts as the sole indicator of success. Super excited!

If they can match the level of care and detail that has been in the previous live-action shorts and tell a compelling story then this will eclipse any other movie coming out this year for me.
