I think attitudes like this show just how much damage Halo: Reach did to the franchise as a whole. It underperformed with fans so badly that it created a very deep chasm that 343 is now having to build a bridge across...Or trying to anyway. To an outsider, Reach looked like a quick cash grab, and Halo 4 looks like the milking of the Halo series.
I honestly wish Reach had never been made. All it did was tear the community apart, and put Halo's reputation in the toilet.
