In Response To: Got Halo 4 Questions? POST 'EM HERE (Louis Wu) Lots of questions, all MP and gameplay-related since that's all that was shown yesterday. 1. Frankie talked about the BR not replacing the DMR's role and that there will be semi-automatic weapons existing alongside it, insinuating that there will be a weapon functionally similar to the DMR. Can you tell us more about this weapon, how accurate it is, etc.? 2. The so-called "perks" system has been announced as being distinct from that of games like Call of Duty. Loadouts were already a big departure from the traditional Halo approach to balancing, and it sounds like these "perks" may be an even further departure. So, how do these "perks" compare to Reach's loadout system as well as CoD-style perks? How are they unlocked? Are they tied to rank and/or whatever player investment system there is, or does everybody have equal access to all of these "perks" regardless of whether it's their first game or if they're already a General (or whatever H4's equivalent rank will be), thus ensuring that Halo stays reasonably close to its traditional method of balancing by having everyone on a level playing field? 3. The HUD shown in the gameplay clips lacks a health bar. Will this change/has this changed, or will Halo 4 use the same health system as the one in Halo 2 & 3? 4. Will dual wielding (which I hate) be present? 5. Will fall damage (which I like) be present? 6. Will vehicles still have hit points independent from the player's like in Reach, or will they be tied to the player's HP like in Halo 2 & 3? 7. What are the three grenade types shown on the HUD? 8. Is the scoring system seen in the gameplay clips normal or is that part of a special gametype? Will traditional scoring features be present?
