I still hate that armor.

The helmet is fine. The arms are fine. The legs are fine. It's everything in the torso and upper back. It just doesn't work for me. At all.

And how is the butt plate attached? Is it magnetic? Is he clenching really tightly? Is it a thong that cups around under his crack and merges into the codpiece?

And this line bothers me, "We knew he needed to be understood as a nimble yet heavy superhero, and contrast that with Reach armor design that was more on the bulky side." Reach was... bulky? What? I understand a good number of shoulders in the armory looked like freaking Football shoulder pads, or ripped off refrigerator doors, or enormous chunks of metal, but the base armor was NOT bulky. Seems to me there's been a trend from Mark IV to Mark VI of the armor steadily slimming up and bulking DOWN. Like you'd expect armor to do as technology improves. Components get smaller, production is streamlined, things are made smaller and lighter. I'm don't think he needs to be bulked up. He needs to be streamlined. The armor needs to become more form fitting. It needs to look like he strapped into a personal jet fighter, and not a walking tank.

I'm straight up disappointed to learn THAT'S apparently what we'll be wearing at some point in Halo 4.
