OK. I'd argue that anything that doesn't look or act as a human would be defined as "inhuman" as well. I guess I'd prefer an actual word to a made up one. Inhuman is not necessarily malevolent, just not behaving as you'd expect a human to act. An extraterrestrial, even a benign one can be described as inhuman just fine.
