In Response To: In defence of Halo's library. (ElzarTheBam) The classic mode isn't too shabby either. I honestly don't understand why this particular level gets Slammed all the time. It's a very easy level to go through, even on Legendary. No worries about a lack of grenades nor weapons for the Flood always drops them. That said, if you're stupid enough to just rush through it, then you WILL die and you WILL deserve it. It's just like all the other levels. In fact, it easier then most of them because the flood don't dodge grenades. Of corse they are always on the offensive as well so I suppose that can be an issue. But like you've said, the map is FILLED with cover. One just has to be smart enough to use them. In my opinion, Halo2's Labrary level was MUCH more difficult then Halo1's. Why? Because at least in Halo1 the flood DO STOP coming at some point.
