Seems a little unwieldy to me and just reinforces my opinion : this should have been handled at the vendor end. 48-hour gold trials will not allow you to activate a file share in-game for a new profile, it has to at least be a 1-month as far as I have seen. I tried doing it so I wouldn't have to link my credit card # or run out just to pick up another prepaid gold, and it didn't work. All the golds have lapsed to silver but can still be edited via b.net. 3 out of 5 of them were free introductory offers for new profiles on my console. The rest of the slots reside on by tag's pro fileshare.
