I don't know how you would implement : the "punch through the door" part in-game, but, if it is well : done (something like the broken door in PoA or an assassination sequence), : I would have no qualms against it. The former. I mention earlier in the level that the player occasionally has to knock down barricades to progress. This is to reestablish the behavior of meleeing obstacles; something the player hasn't had to do since the first-level tutorial. At lower difficulties, a waypoint will pop up to indicate the malfunctioning door needs to be physically struck. (I'm trying to restrict the number of times I take away player control for a mid-level cutscene.)
