Indeed. I remember just standing there waiting for Johnson to offer the Laser while 343 just pushed me back and fired at the wall.
Bo-ring.

Now that would be unnecessarily excessive, no? A bit too Legend of Zelda-ish IMO...
I hate Gravemind's Halo 3 iteration too, but he/it was a great character in Halo 2 and would definitely deserve a more sophisticated showdown.
