In Response To: Apt. 117 new, on-going animated series (onebitrocket) Maybe if this were from Adult Swim or some other entertainment provider, I could be more lenient. But this is from the people who just took over the Halo franchise. I simply cannot believe that THIS is their first Halo-related content they're going to push to us in an effort to win hearts and minds from the Bungie fanclub. The show itself, be it good or not, is not the issue here. What is the issue is the thinking and timing behind it. The first thing 343 should have done on the Halo front is give us some real details on what their plans are for the games, not try to peddle some new entertainment thing. This might give people (myself included) the impression that all they're going to do with this franchise is milk it to the bone, which is kinda what this show seems like it's doing. It's taking the Halo name, and doing something non-Halo with it...And that's really upsetting to a lot of core fans. I'm sorry 343. I had little faith in you to begin with, and this is just NOT helping. I'm very close to being convinced that you've got zero idea what to do with this franchise you've been handed. But, I'll make you a deal. You make me a Halo: Combat Evolved HD, have the primary focus of your company be to make good Halo games, and I'll love you forever. You milk this franchise, make a lot of pointless stuff like this, and generally act out-of-touch, and I'll hate you forever. Sound good?
