Anyone can use a word inappropriately that doesn't make the usage correct, well unless enough people use the term that way and change its meaning. :-)

An example of heresy would be a Christian who believes that Christ had a human body and a divine mind. Atheism or Hinduism do not count as Christian heresies.

And now that I have got going I would say that the Heretic was actually an apostate. So he should have been called the Apostate (unless he still believed that the Forerunners were divine and just thought that the Great Journey was a lie).

No I see my character as being a non-believer in Forerunner/Great-Journey-ism so they should really call me an infidel.
