In Response To: Re: The Halo Franchise (Ibeechu) : I'd rather just know it than watch 5 movies and read several books and still : have way too many questions unanswered. It's getting redundant. And I've been contemplating that for a while now. The "trilogy" in video games almost seems designed to make money and do little else. Occasionally, rare and exotic gems get discovered, but for the most part it's more quantity than quality. Some of the best games I've ever played took me 10-50 hours to beat, and all fit on a single disc or cartridge. It would be nice to get that again. That's where the Zelda series really shines--I don't have to buy each and every one in order to know what happens next, but I'll still get a damn good game with hours upon hours of great gaming!
