And their most popular anime : are Ghost in the Shell and Dragon Ball respectively. out of the studios Bones is one of my favorite studios. they do everything right, especially hard scifi. their work you might have seen: Eureka SeveN, Darker than Black, FMA. Studio4°C isn't that prominent of a studio, but they made 2 sections of the batmanime. i didn't really like either of those, but they weren't bad. studio4°C animated detroit metal city, which i really liked, but it's a comedy. no fancy animation there. i'm not so sure about this one. Production I.G. is one of those studios that animates action really well, having worked on shows like FLCL, end of evangelion, Blood+, and Ghost in the Shell (as you mentioned). so hopefully that one will rock. i haven't seen anything lately done by Toei Animation. i think maybe the last thing i saw animated by them was Intastella 5555 (the daft punk music video), which is glorious. don't really know what to expect here. i have never even heard of Casio Entertainment before. seems like decent studios are involved. nothing crappy like studio deen or the like. at the same time, it's kind of sad that studios which are really famous for fantastic animation (gainax, madhouse, sunrise..... not anymore i guess) aren't contributing.
