Just because you pay attention to SOME of the details and ignore the rest, you don't have a right to categorically state that the details you ignored aren't there.

On June 6, 2000, we reported this snippet from an article in PC Gamer UK:

"Jason [Jones] believes that the balance is moving increasingly towards the first person model."

When the Gamestock footage came out this year (9 months after that quote), people were astounded by the first-person perspective - but JASON HAD STATED - IN A MAJOR GAMING MAG - THAT IT WAS HAPPENING BEFORE THE MS BUYOUT!

What the hell do you want from these people? Do you want them to call you on the phone when design decisions are made that go against your impression of the evolving game?
