Por ejemplo, if you're in a game with : friends, or are getting ready for a game with friends, I kind of doubt : you'd say "Hey, I'll meet you in the pre-game lobby" or : "Hey, let's discuss it in the pre-game lobby." Instead, I think : you'd probably say "I'll meet you in the lobby" or "we can : figure things out in the lobby." Furthermore, to me, "The : Lobby" sounds more like the title of a TV program than "the : Pre-game Lobby." But that's just me. Of course it's your series and : your decision. How many little girls say, in reference to some young pop star, "Oh! He's my American idol!" Harrible example, but you get my point :P I like the title he has now. It's not as easy to say as "The Lobby", and I do see where you're coming from, but it's also... I don't know how to put it. It just sounds more formal. Slightly ironic considering that the goings on in the aforementioned pre-game lobby are usually anything but formal. "The Lobby" sounds like a place you would go to with your friends, but "The Pre-Game Lobby" sounds official, and exacting. Don't go to the pre-game lobby! They got some strict rules in there. Contrast that with the wily antics inside such a lobby, and you have a decent foundation for a joke. But, of course it's not funny when you analyze it like that :P
