In Response To: Halo 3, 8.1 mil and STILL ROCKING YOUR WORLD. (VVM) Based on figures aquired from Wikipedia, Halo 3 is now the 13th best-selling non-bundled console game of all time (it'd rank 22 if portable systems are included). It's right behind Mario Kart 64, and slightly ahead of Halo 2, Super Mario Kart, Goldeneye 007, and Tomb Raider 2. IIRC, Halo 1 & 2 sold 14+ million units, so adding in Halo 3's sales brings the franchise up to 22-23 million units sold. Not bad for a franchise that only has three installments. That's gotta be one of the best averages of all, if not the best. | |
