As I understand it, when playing on XBL it's always disabled, regardless of what type of game you're in. When you're playing locally, it's always enabled, regardless of what type of game you're in. It does seem to me that the existence of the feature in the game, and enabling it in a Forge gametype, does not introduce any greater a possibility of the feature being exploited in a non-Forge game than any other feature of Forge. In other words, you can't just move objects and spawn weapons in matchmaking because the game knows what features are enabled in Forge gamtetypes only. This would just be another one of these. In fact, I'd have thought the Forge play mode would be the preferred one for machinima makers, whether on XBL or not, as it allows you to dress the set between takes. If gun lowering can be exploited in an online Forge map, who cares? If gun lowering, enabled for Forge play modes, can somehow be exploited in non-Forge play modes, doesn't that mean that potentially any other Forge-only feature could be exploited as well? If so, isnt' gun-lowering or any reasonably expected exploitation of such pretty small potatoes?
