In Response To: I think.. (Major Silva) It seems pretty clear from Fankie's response exactly why they didn't implement it. They weren't sure that it couldn't be abused (the fact that they, or any of us, don't know how it could be abused doesn't mean it can't), and they couldn't afford to test exhaustively to find out, so they just left it out. I also doubt that Bungie "forgot" about XBL machinimatographers, they just understood that the potential annoyance that might come from abuse could effect hundreds of thousands of XBLites (pronounced ex-bee-ah-lites, or you could go with XBLians, which would be pronounced like the Outkast album ATLiens), while the number of those who might use it for good would be much lower. They're (negative) utilitarians, Bungie.
