I just picked it up today. I have to say I agree as well. Besides being delayed repeatedly it doesn't seem to be put together very well. The character development is odd, what's with the full spread of inner monologue?

The dialog could use some help itself as well. Interesting to fill the gap, but not overly pleasing.
