In Response To: exactly what I was wondering (Bry) I know it's not an interlaced problem but related to Hz. I was talking about my options for connecting to the TV. I use RGB SCART for Halo. I don't have component. My TV has a D-sub which the 360 uses. I'm not sure how PAL 360s deal with Halo using component. Interlaced or Progressive? What I meant before was if you're using composite, S-vid or RGB SCART it's interlaced. PAL XBoxen could only output interlaced. NTSC had progressive. Quite a few people in Europe believed because they had their XBox connected with component cables they were getting progressive scan but no. : Yup, a number of original Xbox games, Halo included, have problems in their : PAL incarnation if you use the VGA cable. : Basically, the Xbox 360 will not display any 50hz only PAL game via those : cables and if I want to play it, I have to dive behind the 360 and swap : around some cables. : (Its not to do with interlacing apparently, just if its 50/60hz.
