(I know Bungie still has some say in it, also). So really, it : would be up to M$, right? Not really, no. This update (and this release) is happening on December 4. That's 3 weeks from today. That is ABSOLUTELY not enough time for Microsoft to have built in networking to the original game. Even adding in the six weeks since Bungie's been on their own, there hasn't been enough time. So if it were to happen, it had to have been coded mostly before the release of Halo 3. And in that timeframe, it would have been Bungie's decision. Look - I'd love it too. But it's not going to happen, and all the wishful thinking in the world won't change that. And speculation like "it could happen!" does nothing except add email to my inbox from people demanding answers that they just aren't gonna get.
